Reflection on Salem's presentation
At the start Salem introduced himself and explained the powerpoint about his
subject, car accidents.
He then showed his index
and explained how car accidents happen
and the damage that follow the accidents. On his powerpoint he showed colorful pictures that showed how the driver
can be distracted and that makes the driver not concentrate when
he drives.
He asked and answered questions as he went
along; when he was presenting his work Salem was comfortable and relaxed; the
students were active with Salem’s presentation because both his body language
and eye contact were excellent.
In discussion, Salem was disparaging about driving at a high speed and driving recklessly;
also he said that when you drive on a highway it doesn’t make a huge difference
in time from when you drive at a normal speed, and he advised the students
about driving at high speeds.
New things which I learnt:
Most of the accidents are done by drivers
who are 18-35 years, that is more than 50% of the total, and also I learned
that the government is working hard to decrease the percentage.
